I would highly recommend this trip. It was 100 percent the best out of the multiple excursions we did whilst in Rovaniemi. As we are vegetarian they substituted the Salmon for a lovely freshly cooked chilli con carne. The sauna and ice dipping was a refreshing activity and something to remember for years to come!
I had a good time with my friends. There was a wonderful experience. A big zoo with a lot of different animals and beautiful snow scene. The guide was nice and helped us to spot the animals.
One of my best memory of Rovaniemi, the sauna is great, the team gives clear instruction and the diner was good.
We were collected from our hotel (Nova Skyland) and were the only people on the tour so had effectively a private minibus and tour with our very pleasant and helpful guide, who spoke excellent English. The zoo is large but the walking is fairly easy and the enclosures are well designed. Lunch was a hot buffet selection from an on-site cafe and was very tasty with a good selection. We really enjoyed the tour and the only negative was some of the animals were not visible as they were staying in their indoor enclosures, but that's certainly not the fault of the tour guide. We still did see soem fabulous animals in a a beautiful snowy setting - very unique!
Awesome experience… so glad to do this. We were collected and taken to a beautiful place far from the city lights. The sauna and cold plunge left us feeling amazing. The dinner was delicious and the hosts were very kind and welcoming.. i would definitely recommend this experience
My wife and I had a truly outstanding day with our tour guide Robin visiting the Ranua wildlife park.Robin was punctual, an excellent driver and conversationalist, and provided us with interesting insights into Finnish culture and life in Finland. At the park, he took care of our tickets and then showed us through the park, highlighting elusive animals in certain enclosures, and also providing additional interesting commentary. He also managed to work some magic and the polar bear Venus even appeared. We both said afterwards that we had a fantastic trip to the park, and Robin certainly played a bit part in that. The park itself is well maintained and the animals have got spacious enclosures. The food was quite good too- Finnish buffet. Would highly recommend.
We booked two tours with this company and they were the BeSt we had in Lapland!!! We wish we could have booked more. Our first day with Robin was ice floating during the day. We had so much fun and felt like kids again! It felt like experience of lifetime. The next day our guide Pedro took us on the best of Lapland. We did a traditional Finnish sauna. It’s was another experience of a lifetime. I really didn’t think I’d like it since I hate the cold but I felt invigorated jumping into the frozen lake!! If you go to Lapland book with this company. They are smaller and you’ll be getting an authentic experience as opposed to a touristy one.
I went with 2 kids that still believe in Santa and they were over the moon. To me it was all a bit cheesy, and has a feeling of amusement park, but seeing them so excited was more than enough to make it worth it. They particularly liked the snowmobile, which is not included, but you can go during the free time. Our guide knew what he was doing, so he made sure we went first to the places that get busiest and we managed to avoid all the queues. I can imagine that if he hadn't done that we'd have to wait 30/40 min in each place and the trip would have been a disaster, so really happy with him.
A wonderful experience with a well prepared guide and a fantastic place in the middle of the forest. 9 aged children also took part and enjoyed it. An unforgettable adventure.
Super cosy and secluded cottage with awesome sauna and ice cold lake in a beuatiful environment. We stayed in the sauna and went afterwards for a cool dip in the frozen lake, bucketlist experience. We really felt alive and relaxed! We enjoyed the grilled salmon with sidedishes, it was a splendid ending of a wonderful trip. Also bonus points for the small group (max 6 persons) and shoutout to the amazing guide Pedro!
